Style Crush: Rihanna

Hey guys! Since the last style crush went down so well , I thought I'd do another one.
This week ,I've decided to show you guys how you can dress like Rihanna for the minimal price.
I personally love how Rihanna has such a casual laid-back style that she twists making it come to life. I also respect her bravery to explore bright colours that most of us wouldn't be seen dead in.
So Enjoy!

Style Crush: Kendall Jenner

The majority of the public has watched Kendall blossom into a fashion icon. From a reality TV show to the catwalk , Kendall always knows how to style the trendiest outfits! I personally love her subtle choice of colours along with simple yet effective clothing items. I know we all don't have the same budget as Kendall but that shouldn't stop up when it comes to parading the latest fashion. I have put together some of my favorite outfits from Kendall along with a budget version which wont make you break the bank.
Enjoyyyy!

Want to rock Kendall's look? Well you can for under £100!

Review | MaryKay Hydrate & Protect

Happy Tuesday guys! So my mother kindly ( and very unusually) gave me a Mary kay face cream to try out. I was absolutely honored to be able to try out a product of such high quality. This "hydrate and protect" face cream is from Mary Kays youth range and is great for dry skin. The texture of the cream is quite silky and thick but glides on very easily. Mary kay specializes in making organic products so this cream was scent free and had a minimal amount of harsh chemicals. It is vital to protect the skin with sunscreen ( even in England where the sun doesn't exist) as it can prevent premature ageing and darken acne marks.
So far , I am generally happy with this product and am looking forward to including this into my daily skin routine!

Trend: Sports Day!

Sports day ~
From baseball jackets to asymmetrical skirts , I've been recently obsessing over 'sporty' fashion items. Personally , I've always been a huge fan of sports activities and am delighted by the opportunity to ditch the heels and slip on a comfy pair of trainers without defying the laws of fashion. Never the less , I've created a few sporty outfits to give you some inspiration for this summer...enjoy!

Wednesday Wishlist 14/04 - Jump Around ♥

Untitled #13

I am a big fan of jumpsuits and playsuits. They can be dressed up or down, they're a great alternative to dresses and skirts, and by the time you've thrown one on your outfit is pretty much sorted - no worrying about colours or prints clashing. Here are a few of my favourites that I've spotted from around the web...

#PromPrep - Deciding What to Wear

Hi guys, I hope you're well. Here's the second instalment of the prom prep series (You can see the first one here). One of the biggest aspects of preparing for prom is deciding what to wear. Here are just a few ideas and suggestions which will hopefully make the process a bit easier for you.

I did it!

Yesterday I joined 11,000 runners to take on the Bristol 10k. The weather started off miserable - it was rainy and windy, but that didn't dampen our spirits. It is the first time I have ever taken part in anything like this, and I was so excited to see what the months of training would come to. I approached the race with two aims: to keep running (even though I had been advised by a doctor not to run at all  - oops!) and to finish in under an hour...

Thrifty Thursday - CosmeticsFairy

This week's Thrifty Thursday post comes in the form of a review. I discovered CosmeticsFairy.co.uk fairly recently, and was amazed at how cheaply they sold beauty products from well-known brands such as Urban Decay, Covergirl and Rodial

Wednesday Wishlist 07/05 - Workout Wear ♥

I've saved money on a gym membership by running (which you can do for free pretty much anywhere) and following Blogilates and Pop Sugar Fitness workouts on YouTube (who I'm inspired for almost as much for their style as I am for their fitness!). I think one thing you can't really afford to skimp on if you want to avoid injury is quality sportswear - especially a good pair of trainers...

Review | Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm

You know those lip balms you are always having to re-apply because they taste so good , well this is one of them! I'm a Vaseline kinda girl and I'm forever carrying around my little tin of Vaseline around with me. Trying something new was a hard task as I've fallen in love with Vaseline but I was ready for something new. So I purchased the Palmer's Cocoa butter lip balm.

#Prom Prep Review | Clearasil Ultra Blemish + Marks Range

This post is the first one in a series that we'll be doing to help you get ready for prom, or any other big spring/summer occasions you have coming up. It's always good to have a skincare routine that works for you, and while the event is a while away this may be a good time to try out different products and see what works best for you.

I was very kindly sent a few products from the Clearasil ULTRA blemish + marks range. I have dry skin which is prone to blemishes so I was interested to see how this would work. The range claims to help clear blemishes fast and fight the appearance of marks.  In our generation of airbrushed faces and photo shopped images , many people want to achieve that fresh face flawless look. Of course that is unattainable, but I think its vital that everyone feels comfortable in their own skin and no-one should feel like they need to hide away because of skin imperfections. This range does offer to reduce the appearance of marks and blemishes, which is always a comfort, so I was really excited to try it...

Thrifty Thursday - NUS/Unidays

If you're a student you've probably heard of NUS and/or UniDays before. If you're a college,sixth-form or university student, NUS and UniDays memberships entitle you to a discount at many major retailers. The standard student discount is usually about 10%, but there are sometime special, limited periods of time when you can get an increased discount.

Asos is currently offering a 25% student discount on full-priced items until 9am BST Friay 2nd May!

You could get Ray Bans for £73.50, a Cath Kidston bag for £6, or how about some New Balance trainers for £37.50?

Generally, it's a good idea to get an NUS card if you are eligible for one, as you can get discounts on everything from cinema tickets to groceries (have a look at all the discounts on offer here). They sometimes come as a free perk with Student bank Accounts, or you can get the for £12 from the NUS website. Either way, it will pay for itself as you take advantage of all the discounts on offer.

If you got an 'email for life' at university, ending in '.ac.uk' you can also take advantage of student-specific deals (more on that in another post).

Check out the Asos Website to find out more

What's the best student discount you've received?
